We need someone who takes pride in what leaves their workstation.
Threads & Lasers is growing, and we're looking for an Apparel Production Specialist to join our production team.
You'll work hands-on with DTF printing, heat pressing, screen printing, apparel decoration, finishing, and order fulfillment.
But here's the important part:
Your job isn't simply to complete the task. Your job is to complete it correctly.
We're looking for someone who notices when something isn't right, asks questions before making assumptions, takes ownership of their work, and understands that every product leaving our shop represents Threads & Lasers.
If you're the kind of person who naturally straightens the crooked picture on the wall...we should probably talk.
You'll work directly with our Production Manager to turn stacks of blank apparel into finished orders for businesses, schools, sports organizations, corporate clients, events, teams, and more.
Some days you'll produce hundreds of the same item.
Other days you may work on several completely different projects.
Priorities can change.
Rush orders happen.
Equipment occasionally decides it has other plans.
We're looking for someone who can adapt, stay organized, and keep producing great work.
We're not measuring success by how many hours you stand in front of a heat press.
We'll measure it by your results.
1. Your Work Is Right the First Time
Before producing an item, you verify:
You don't assume.
You verify.
2. You Catch Problems Early
One bad shirt is a problem.
One hundred bad shirts is a very expensive problem.
If something looks wrong, you'll stop and investigate before continuing production.
We would much rather answer a question than remake an entire order.
3. You Complete What You're Assigned
When the Production Manager assigns you a job, you take ownership of moving it through your portion of production.
That means keeping it organized, communicating problems, maintaining quality, and letting the Production Manager know when it's complete.
4. Your Work Area Stays Production-Ready
You shouldn't have to spend 20 minutes looking for supplies before starting a job.
You'll keep equipment, transfers, garments, supplies, tools, and work-in-progress organized.
When something is running low, you'll communicate it before we run out.
5. You Help the Team Win
We're a small business.
There will be days when your primary job is printing apparel.
There will also be days when the team needs help counting shirts, folding orders, packing boxes, cleaning equipment, receiving merchandise, or finishing a rush order.

Experience with DTF printing, heat pressing, screen printing, apparel decoration, print production, sign production, garment finishing, or fulfillment is a plus.
Industry experience is preferred but not required.
For this position, we're willing to train the right person.
We care a lot about work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
We can teach someone how to use a heat press.
It's much harder to teach someone to care whether the logo is crooked.
After you're fully trained, we should be able to give you a production job and trust that:
You'll read the instructions.
You'll verify before you produce.
You'll keep the order organized.
You'll notice if something isn't right.
You'll communicate problems.
And you'll produce work you're proud to put our name behind.
